Monica V. Pennisi Marsico is a shareholder in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability and Business Litigation Practice Groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio. She serves as national and regional counsel, and assists lead trial counsel for a major automotive manufacturer in product liability cases and premises liability cases.

Ms. Marsico has extensive experience in all aspects of pretrial activity and trial preparation in high exposure product liability and other cases, including crashworthiness cases for one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers involving allegations of defective restraint systems; and in premises liability cases, including indemnification and coverage actions pertaining to applicable franchise agreements.

Ms. Marsico is a 1993 graduate of Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey, and a 1998 graduate of the Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where she was on the Administrative Board of the Widener Journal of Public Law and published three times. From 1998-1999, Ms. Marsico clerked for the Honorable Joseph E. Kane in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, including the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a current member of the Camden County and Pennsylvania bar associations.

Personal

In her spare time, Ms. Marsico is a devoted and busy mom to young daughters, Siena and Savanna. She resides in South Jersey with her daughters and husband, Marc Marsico, who is also an attorney.
